These Terms of Service govern your use of the Navorex Logistics website and our full truckload, LTL, rail and parcel freight services within the United States. By requesting a quote, booking a shipment or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
"Shipper" means the party booking or tendering goods for carriage. "Carrier" means Navorex Logistics acting as motor carrier or as forwarding agent. "Consignment" means the goods entrusted to us for transport. "Services" means the freight, dispatch and tracking services we provide.
Quotes are valid for the period stated at the time of issue and depend on equipment being available when you book. Rates exclude any surcharges (fuel, detention, accessorial) that apply at the time of shipment. A booking is confirmed only once we send written confirmation.
The Shipper is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided about the consignment, including its weight, dimensions, commodity and any hazardous material classification, and for packing and labelling the goods correctly for the mode of transport used.
We do not carry illegal goods, undeclared dangerous goods, or anything prohibited by the carriers or states involved in the route. Dangerous goods must be declared in advance and packaged to the DOT hazardous materials regulations that apply.
Our liability for loss of or damage to goods transported by motor carrier is governed by the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706), together with our Carrier Terms. Cargo insurance is not included automatically. We can arrange cover on request, and recommend it for high-value or fragile shipments.
Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We may hold a consignment where charges relating to it, or to a previous shipment on the same account, remain unpaid.
Cancellations must be given in writing. The Shipper remains responsible for costs already incurred, including equipment committed and third-party charges, up to the point of cancellation.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business. Our liability for a claim is capped at the limit set by the Carmack Amendment, or at the freight charge for the shipment where it does not apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute is subject to the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the date of your booking applies to that shipment. The current version is always published on this page, with its last-updated date shown above.
Reach out and our team will be glad to walk you through it.
